Do you have a man cave for Max?

Max was surrendered to the SPCA in June due to a new baby having allergies. He is 4 years old and has lived with a cat and did well coexisting. He is good with other dogs, lived with kids, is good in the car and is house trained. He loves toys and chasing balls.

Max is now in foster care as he was losing weight in the shelter, despite him eating well. Since being with his foster, Max is thriving and has been slowly putting on weight with his scheduled supervised feedings. Max has his own man cave (basement) where he likes to chew all the stuffy and squeaky toys and lounge on the couch. He isn’t having accidents and is not destructive. He does not get crated while his foster is away for the day. Max does not cry or whine in the basement, he is a very content mature boy. Max does not jump. Max knows his routine and goes straight from the basement to the back door and vice versa when it’s time to come inside. He loves to chill out back in the fenced-in yard and sniff around. Max is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He does have an undefined skin allergy that would need further testing to identify the allergy. Any questions, email his foster mom at christie.giamo@yahoo.com. ••
